Our type of powerful kick-boxing uses "real" kick-boxing techniques. It is not just an aerobic workout meant for exercise and it will not be the type of training found in many other types of kick-boxing classes.
Our style of Thaibo Power Kick-Boxing TM comes from the original Muay Thai or Thailand Kick-Boxing. Our stances use both the front bo and the side bo stances used in the original Shaolin "Boxing" from China passed down to Thailand. Master Skornia, our Chief Instructor, trained there personally in 1968 with the national champion.
There is a larger variety of punches and kicks in Thaibo Power Kick-Boxing TM than in aerobic types of kick-boxing. There are blocks and strikes which can be used in actual self-defense. Learning the true art of Thaibo Power Kick-Boxing TM means you will get an aerobic workout, be able to use the training for self-defense, or go into full-contact sparring someday.
